This forest is dedicated to the memory of Bénédicte Jougla, friend and fellow VSO volunteer. Bénédicte  was a caring, loving, intelligent and kind person who left her native France to help improve the skills of teachers in Nigeria. 

 

To honour her memory we named this forest after her. It will be kept and managed for future generations.
